Beautiful walking route that is only a 15-minute drive away from central Oxford.
No signposts, benches, toilet facilities or places to eat so will have to come organised with what you need.

There is a Wytham Art Studio that is regularly open to the public
You need a permit to visit which is free, but you have to apply online HERE
Opening Hours
Monday - Friday: 10am to dusk
Weekends and bank holidays: dawn to dusk
Under normal circumstances the Woods are open every day of the year including bank holidays, unless essential management work is being undertaken.

- Dogs not allowed (*ONLY Fully trained working assistance dogs are permitted.)
- Parts buggy friendly- Entrance is buggy friendly but as you go further into the walk the terrain is bumpy and parts are uphill
