Everyone who wants to enter the fields must have an admission ticket - booking in advance is essential as tickets sell out fast! (Toddlers and babies under 2 years old can enter the fields free of charge, they will still need a ticket). The patch will be Halloween themed, with lots of props and photo ops, whilst remaining suitable for a family audience.
Once in the field, you choose the pumpkins you wish to take home with you and pay for them before leaving. Wheelbarrows will be available for you to use to transport your pumpkins to the exit desk. Pumpkin/squash prices vary depending on the size and variety of the pumpkins. Prices will be advised at entry to the pumpkin patch and again at exit.
Other useful information:
- The patch will be Halloween themed, with lots of props and photo ops, whilst remaining suitable for a family audience.
- A huge amount of space is required to grow all the pumpkins we need each year, so some pumpkins will have been grown in other areas of the farm and brought to the pumpkin patch for you to pick.
- Millets Farm is a working farm, and the ground is uneven in places, which can make it difficult for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
- For health and safety reasons, we ask that no motorised mobility aids be taken into the patch.
- Tickets are for your arrival time, but you are welcome to stay as long as you like.
- Sorry, no dogs are allowed into this event, apart from our Dog Day on 31st October. However, assistance dogs are permitted in all areas, and we politely request that they wear appropriate signage to help both our team and other customers understand their need to be there. They must remain on a lead, be kept under control and in close proximity to the disabled person throughout your visit.
