Creative Computing Club - Grow Your Game (Ages 9-12) at the Science Oxford Centre.

On Saturday 12th March 12:30-14:00, 15:00-16:30.

Design your own Game at this month's club, in celebration of British Science Week. Young Gamers build and grow their own 'New World' and complete challenges using Makecode Arcade, a very visual programme that's perfect for learning how to code. Brainstorm ideas and plan a story concept, design your cool avatar 'Sprite' and Go! The 2022 British Science Week theme is Growth – could your green-fingered Sprite water flowers on an island and watch them bloom, or open a city-farm and fill it with favourite animal companions? Or even create a robot Empire in space and take over a pixelated galaxy far, far away! See who can get the highest score before it’s Game Over.

The club includes access to their woodland, ponds and lunch tables.

All children must be accompanied by an adult (adult entrance is free).
